JP-Brick4-webJonathan Porta (Trainer) Jonathan is excited about being a trainer at PGB Austin. He began learning leadership skills at a young age while being captain for several sport teams. Jonathan then got into lifting weights and truly loved it. He absorbed as much information about staying healthy so he could reach his fitness goals. He soon saw results and started training his friends to help them reach their goals. Soon after, Jonathan got introduced to Krav Maga, an Israeli self-defense system, and has been training in it ever since. Recently he became a Master Trainer for Pink Gloves Boxing and has enjoyed mixing his knowledge of Krav Maga into Boxing. He also completed his certification for Bosu Ball classes. Jonathan is excited to continue training for PGB and be part of the Pink Gloves community in Austin.

Stephanie joined Pink Gloves Boxing Austin in January of 2014 while looking for a way to bring regular exercise back into her life. After the first class she was hooked and immediately joined PGB Austin’s tier program. The content of the program was EXACTLY what she was looking for to keep her interested, motivated and coming back for more. Pink Gloves enabled her to find the strength to accomplish health goals she never thought were possible and today she is still leveraging PGB Austin on her journey to a healthier lifestyle. When the opportunity to become a trainer was presented, she didn’t hesitate to take that next step. Up next, Stephanie is looking forward to bringing VIXEN ARMY to the gym. Vixen Army is a hip-hop cardio dance workout that allows women to let loose, forget responsibilities and transform into their inner Beyonce’s! Stephanie is excited to encourage women of all shapes and sizes to get up and get moving!!!! She looks forward to helping others find the motivation to start their own journey with the support system of the PGB family!

Kelsey started with Pink Gloves in August of 2013. Trying to find a workout that would keep her mind engaged as much as her body, she quickly fell in love with boxing. She is now currently in the final tier of The PGB program and will be completing Tier 7 in May. As a PGB trainer, Kelsey is looking forward to providing the same fun and rewarding experience to PGB Austin clients and help them find a workout that engages both their mind and body and empowers them to feel stronger every day.

Jenn has a background in dance, and was fortunate to be a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette. After trying a few different types of workouts, she found a Groupon for Pink Gloves Boxing Austin. Jenn tried out PGB Austin in November of 2014, after the first class she was HOOKED and immediately joined the PGB Austin tier program. The content of the program was exactly what she was looking for. It was challenging, kept her motivated and coming back for more. When the opportunity to attend the trainer’s camp was announced, she didn’t hesitate to increase her knowledge and soak in everything Pink Gloves Boxing had to offer. Jenn’s favorite part about being a member and trainer is the relationships she builds with her PGB family! Jenn is excited to build up our Pink Gloves family, while building up everyone’s confidence and helping everyone meet their personal fitness goals!
